Chester, the Clinic Cat

Chester, the Clinic CatHi, I’m Chester. I’ve been a part of the Rum River family since December 2005. I was a stray found in Dr. Guck’s neighborhood. When I was first brought here, I was very scared and had really bad ear mites. Once I was back in good health, it was decided I was ready to go to a good home. A family adopted me but for some reason I wasn’t the right fit for them. I was brought back to Rum River, and everyone decided to give me a chance as the "clinic kitty." Every once in a while, my cage door was left open so I could come out if I wanted, and over time I became more comfortable. It didn’t take long before clients would walk in and ask to see me.

Through the years, I have become a real fixture around here. I am very laid back until a dog comes in and decides to get a little too "up close and personal," in which case I may be found somewhere in the back, resting. I look forward to seeing you when you come in!

P.S. I love to be scratched by the top of my tail.

Chester the Cat is a celebrity at Rum River Veterinary Clinic. Chester even has his own Facebook page and we encourage you to visit him there for updates.
